ÁùÊåͼ¿â

The final years at ÁùÊåͼ¿â are filled with choices, opportunities and challenge. While our students’ significant academic achievements are recognised, all students who have worked faithfully and with dedication are celebrated.

Progressing through to the senior years, students are encouraged to become independent learners. Year 12 students have the use of their own Year 12 Pavillion and quiet study rooms to encourage responsibility for the effective use of their time. A wide range of subjects are offered for the Higher School Certificate (HSC) and students may choose to undertake courses either at school, through a TAFE College or by distance education options.

In addition to the languages offered at ÁùÊåͼ¿â, our students can also study through the NSW School of Languages. Showcase evenings throughout the year highlight students’ HSC major works in Industrial Technology, Textiles, Design and Technology, Music, Visual Arts, Drama, and Dance.

Diverse Subject Choices

Covenant Christian School offers students 40 HSC Electives providing plenty of options to turn passions into professions.

ÁùÊåͼ¿â provides a supportive environment for students to focus on their studies. The school’s quality facilities cater for a wide variety of interests, enabling students to achieve their best in the creative arts, sport, technology or academic spheres.

Careers Advice and Wisdom

The HSC is an important stepping stone requiring support, guidance and advice from godly role models.

Throughout their time at ÁùÊåͼ¿â, students are equipped to live for God’s glory. During the later years in Secondary School, attention is given to life after school and options for further study and work. ÁùÊåͼ¿â’s careers guidance involves helping students make informed decisions based on careers information, self-knowledge and the opportunities available. Students are kept up to date with the latest information on careers and further study opportunities.

Our careers advisor, teachers and other key staff work with students to help them evaluate their options.

Leadership through service

School Captains congratulate Junior School House Captains

At ÁùÊåͼ¿â we believe that each student has been "created in Christ Jesus to do good works" (Ephesians 2:10). As God's handiwork we have each been gifted with unique abilities and talents which are to be used to serve others for the glory of God.

Our senior students have many opportunities for servant leadership both at school and in the wider community. These opportunities allow our students to use and develop their leadership gifts, engage positively within our school environment, and to grow and show increasing responsibility. Our students will take these skills and passions into their chosen vocation, using them to serve the Lord.

Our School and Vice Captains are our Prep to Year 12 school leaders. They play a significant role in our school, teaching the Bible to both their peers and younger students. They act as representatives of the school and represent their peers on the Student Leadership Council.

Our senior students are also involved in leading our discipleship groups, Mustard (for students in Years 7 to 10) and Kids for Christ (for students in Junior School).

Friendships, Memories and Diverse Pathways

ÁùÊåͼ¿â seeks to equip students to live for God’s glory. The majority of students will proceed straight to university, while some will defer to travel or work. Others will take alternative study options, seek ministry training and gap year opportunities. We thank God for the abilities each student has been given, for the hard work they put into their studies, and for the dedicated teachers who support them along the way.
