The facilities at Covenant Christian School are designed to support learning and development of our students in Year 7 to 12.

Learning spaces

All our air-conditioned classrooms provide an inspiring, engaging space for students to embrace learning. Our learning areas include science laboratories, technology rooms, creative arts facilities, and sports facilities. Our Learning Hub, Hall and outdoor facilities provide additional spaces for teaching and learning.


The Learning Hub

This dynamic learning space allows for a diversity of opportunities for students to develop a sense of agency in their learning.

The Learning Hub is home the Secondary Library, TechServe (our IT services hub), break-out rooms, study pods, silent learning areas and our Careers Advisor.

The Secondary Library is home to hundreds of fiction and non-fiction books, Preliminary and HSC resources, teacher's resources and more.

TechServe is ÁùÊåͼ¿â's technology support team. Students who require assistance or support may visit the team.

We have a number of break-out rooms equipped with smart boards for lessons, tutoring, student collaboration and one-to-one teacher/student meetings.

We have study pods available in the Learning Hub to allow our Distance Education and Languages students to have a quiet place for their phone and online lessons.

Our Careers Advisor works with students and families to support and encourage our young people as they explore vocational opportunities.

The Learning Hub is a thriving place during lunchtime. Students can engage in a variety of clubs, board games, card games, chess or reading.

After school, the Learning Hub is available for student supervision, study and homework help for Years 5 to 12.

Creative Spaces

Our Secondary School features a number of purpose-build spaces where creativity thrives and students are given the opportunity to develop and refine their God-given gifts.

  • Our spacious art rooms are beautiful and filled with natural light. The size of our art spaces allow our HSC students to work on their Major Work even when an art class is taking place.
  • Our music rooms are fitted out with the latest technology, equipment and instruments. We have three adjacent tutorial spaces for private music lessons, and a composition room with a suite of iMacs.
  • Our drama room has a stage, a costume and dressing room, plus a small lighting facilitiy.
  • Our photography room houses a variety of pull-down backdrops and camera equipment, including cameras, tripods and lighting.
  • Our dance studios are fitted with tarkett flooring, mirrors and bars.

Spaces for Technology

We have a number of fabulous spaces for our Secondary students use technology:

  • Textiles - Our modern, light textiles room is fully equipped with equipment required for the HSC Textiles course.
  • Design - Our bright design room is fitted with two 3D printers x 2 and a vinyl cutter.
  • Woodwork - This modern, well equipped space is complete with band saws, metal work rooms and a welding bay.
  • Food and Hospitality - With commercial grade kitchens, this space is full equipped for students to complete the VET Hospitality Kitchen Operations Certificate II course. Students are also able to gain Cafe exposure and experience at Cafe Covie.
  • Agriculture plots - With chickens, guinea pigs, herbs and vegies, our students can get their hands dirty whilst learning to care for and grow plants and animals.

Performing Arts Space

Our Performing Arts Space is a custom-built, multi-purpose, air-conditioned space. It is used for dance rehearsals, music ensembles and bands, sport and more.

The stage is equipped with sound and lighting equipment and provides a wonderful venue for a variety of functions.

This facility is used by students from Prep to Year 12.

Hall & Gymnasium

ÁùÊåͼ¿â’s multi-purpose air-conditioned hall with a fully sprung floor caters for physical education and indoor sports programs.

The stage is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment and provides a wonderful venue for our many performing arts, musicals, assemblies and special functions.

Students involved in SALT (Sound and Lighting Team) are able to gain practical experience using this fabulous equipment during assemblies and other large events such as musicals, dance and music evenings.

Other sports facilities

The Fitness Centre allows our students to access the latest fitness equipment and promotes and supports physical activity.

The Sports Centre provides a place for students to play a variety of sports including tennis, futsal and basketball.

The new soccer field (due for completion in mid-2023) is an all-weather field, suitable for our sport and ever-expanding co-curricular program.

Outdoor Spaces

At ÁùÊåͼ¿â, all our outdoor spaces have been designed to promote active break-times and create a positive environment for social connection.

Our two outdoor basketball courts, full-size oval, cricket practice pitch, and ping pong tables provide a wonderful variety of sporting options for our students both during break times and for sport.

There is also a dedicated space for our Year 7 and 8 students to enjoy their break-times.

Year 12 Pavilion & Precinct

This space provides our Year 12 students with a special place to study, relax and eat together during their final year of school.

Students will often spend their free periods together at the Pavilion, sitting on comfortable chairs with a Cafe Covie coffee, or enjoying the sunshine from the deck.

This wonderful area promotes connectedness between our students and helps to foster a positive wellbeing.
